

BIOGRAPHY
Bethan Terry is a lyric-coloratura soprano based in London, with Yorkshire roots. Her professional engagements range from full-scale operas to intimate recitals. Her most recent engagements include: Adina and Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore (Wild Arts Tour), recitals of French song in London’s Wigmore Hall and Paris’ Salle Cortot, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (Merry Opera), Gala soloist and recital curator for Clonter Opera, Belinda in Dido & Aeneas (Somerset Opera), Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte (NWOS), Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Bach’s Magnificat (Ely Cathedral), Haydn’s Creation (Solihull Choral Society), BBC Immersion George Walker concert (BBC Radio 3), and a recital tour in Tuscany.
Bethan was a Junior Vocal Fellow at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she also completed her master’s and was taught by Janice Chapman and Marie Vassiliou; her undergraduate was at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, where Bethan studied with Sophie Grimmer.
